Pangkor Trip - Day 1

So our class trip has changed a few days before the trip from Penang to Pangkor Island, which I'll say it's very memorable!

Meeting up in front Ayer Tawar's 7-11 at about 2pm, we are off to Lumut by bus, right after EST paper and our SPM.
While we were buying our ferry tickets (RM10 for adults to and fro), we also got our accommodation at Pangkor Holiday Resort. It's a challet very near to beach and has swimming pool. We got 2 rooms for 11, or maybe 12, at price RM220 per room with an extra mattress for both rooms.

Ferry will only start when it's full or almost full. It stops at 2 places, first at the village-ish spot (mostly for Pangkor residents), and then the new build jeti - tourist spot.

Funny that we actually walked all the way from jeti to the resort, which is a few kilometres far or about 5 - 10 minutes car ride. :S HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. You can always get a pink van there as transport, usually RM10 for a van, one ride.

After checking in, we rested for a while before going out searching for dinner. We rented 6 motors before dinner hunting, to save energy. :D We got the vehicles near the resort and the beach, RM20 each plus RM10 deposit, fuel depends if you want to add or not by yourself, not in quite a good condition. I would say it might be better if you rent them straight at the jeti, but I don't know the price there. Anyway, always check the rear mirrors, fuel reading, all that, and most important of all, the brake.
Went motorcycling!

Thank you for being the driver, cousin. :D
Ignore the slanting image, I was on a accelerating motorcycle. :P

Then before dinner, we went to the largest temple in Pangkor and climbed up the small Great Wall of China, another good way to exhaust yourself :D But the scene there was nice.

Dinner time. We didn't go for restaurants, mind the price and we're just teenagers. Nothing is exactly cheap at tourist spots, except if you're at some factories or so. Ate at road-side stalls, and there's this stupid stall with their stupid attitude that chased away 2 customers. SMART ENOUGH.
Ordering drinks was always the hardest part for the one serving us. Imagine 11 people requesting different drinks, of either hot or cold...
Stopped by at a store outside the resort.Natasha Ting planned to have a party and swimming at night in the swimming pool. Bought a bottle of cola and beer. But in the end 8 guys went cyber cafe and left Natasha, me, and cousin Hui Chuen, later joined by a friend Johnson.

So we were playing card games in the room. People there occasionally heard screams from our room, like something happened :D Punishment was push-ups, the other 3 won't stop playing until I got once. Funny that I was lucky enough to get away quite a few times in the final round :P
Then we shared the drinks when the boys went back to the room.
We also went riding around the island, for almost a whole cycle around it, searching for 蓝眼泪, blue tears on the beach. I'm half enjoying and half disliking the ride, the turns, ups and downs, the wind swishing past, the quiet road. Quite scary. But I like the cold air and the scenes. Plus we did saw the blue tears, the feeling was amazing. Too bad there wasn't an area that's concentrated with blue dots.
p.s.: I didn't bother taking any photos at night. Except below.
Tried to take a photo of the blue tears and this is the only one I got. The blue spot there, that's the blue tears.
This is actually my 3rd time at Pangkor but the first to really have a good look at blue tears and try the other water activities.

To be continued with Day 2! ;)
